Overgrown and neglected flowerbeds have a way of making even a nice home look rough. Dead bushes, scraggly monkey grass, and beds full of old debris just drag the whole front of the house down. That's exactly what we were working with here.

We started with a full landscape clean up - pulling out the dead bushes, clearing the beds, and getting everything back to a clean slate. Once the beds were cleared, we brought in healthy new shrubs to replace what was removed. Fresh plants, properly spaced, set up to actually thrive.

From there, we trimmed the existing bushes and monkey grass to get everything looking neat and uniform. Trimming is one of those things that sounds simple but makes a huge difference. When the edges are clean and the shrubs are shaped up, the whole property tightens up visually.

We finished the job with a fresh layer of brown mulch across the beds - front, side, and back. Brown mulch does a lot of work. It locks in moisture, keeps weeds down, and gives every bed a polished, finished look that ties the whole yard together. The contrast against the white brick on this home is hard to miss.

This is the kind of work that takes a yard from dull to sharp without a full redesign. A good landscape clean up paired with the right plants and fresh mulch goes a long way.
