Overgrown shrubs have a way of sneaking up on you. What starts as a little extra growth turns into bushes that are climbing the brick, blocking windows, and making the whole front of your house look unkempt. That's exactly what we were dealing with here in Threeway.

The shrubs along the side of the house had gotten tall and leggy - shooting up well past where they should have been. They weren't just messy looking. They were starting to lose their shape entirely, with long random shoots going in every direction. That kind of growth makes a house look like nobody's paying attention to it.

We came in and brought everything back down to a clean, rounded shape. Each shrub got cut to a consistent size so the whole bed reads as one cohesive line instead of a jumbled mix of different heights. The brick behind them is visible again, and the front of the home just looks put together. Simple as that.

That's really what shrub trimming comes down to - control. When the plants are shaped and maintained, the whole yard feels intentional. When they're not, even a nice house can look rough. Regular trimming also keeps shrubs healthier over time, since it encourages better growth patterns and prevents dead wood from building up inside the plant.

We do this kind of work all over the area and we take it seriously whether it's one bush or a full bed. If your shrubs are starting to look like they've taken over, we're happy to come take a look.
